Welcome to the Laurel Jaycees Web-Site. The Laurel Jaycees are a non-profit community service organization that places focus on leadership and individual development.

The Laurel Jaycees are planning a lot of events for the season. We just finished helping with the "Hometown Troops" Sweetheart Dance on February 14th. They raised over $3600 to send care packages to our troops overseas. We just completed a lot of renovation to the Jaycee Hall, such as new floors in the kitchen and bar, and refinished the wood floors and even some of the walls. We hosted the Year-End Convention for the Montana Jaycees, and it was well-received by all who attended. The Laurel Jaycees even came home with some plaques for their accomplishments.We just completed our Christmas Party for the Jaycee Kids, distributing Christmas Baskets for the needy, we raised almost $900 for a little boy's medical bills out of Park City, donated $500 to the Chase Hawks Memorial Association, hosted a Christmas Party for the Military and raised over $1000 for Hometown Troops, we're planning some Individual Development training programs, new member recruitment incentives, new chapter extensions in a couple of our neighbouring communities, training for our upcoming 2009 local officers, a possible Sumo-Suit Wrestling tournament, the Distinguished Service Awards Banquet and many many more.  The Laurel Jaycees are working on the new extension of the Billings Jaycees. We have had a few of meetings so far, and it was well received! Anyone who is interested in joining the Brand New Billings Jaycees, please contact Brad Wetch at 855-4575 for details. The extension team is working on some promotions on the radio and possibly at some local events to get the word out about the new chapter being formed!

Anyone who joins the new Billings Jaycees can become a member for only $25 the first year! They will become official "Charter Members" of one of the most exciting new chapters in Montana! Billings is full of opportunities and resources for a group of young adults who want to make a difference in our community!
